Limited Youtube Rebate and Contest
Update: The 1st and 2nd $250 Youtube contest prizes have been awarded. Click on the links below to view them. CMR comments... the 1st has impressive shots on land and water shot with a 5DMII, and the 2nd is pure creative fun shot with an HV20.
You may receive a $75 rebate by posting a video on Youtube with shots taken with your Blackbird. Only the first 20 qualifying submissions will be eligible for the $75 rebate. Additionally up to $1,500 in prizes will be awarded in the CMR Youtube Blackbird contest.
Blackbird Youtube Rebate and Prize Contest Rules:
To qualify for the CMR Blackbird Youtube rebate and contest your Youtube submission must meet the following requirements.
- The submitted video should be no less than 1.5 minutes and no longer than 4 minutes in duration and must include at least 60 seconds of video shot using a Blackbird.
- The video must include a shot of your camera and Blackbird rig of duration at least 5 seconds (can be a still photo).
- The Youtube posting title must include the word “Blackbird”
- The Youtube posting must include the following tags: camera motion research blackbird stabilizer steadycam
- The video itself must have a title which includes the following “Camera Motion Research” and “Blackbird”
- Within 5 days of posting a video on Youtube you must notify CMR of your submission by sending an email to providing your Youtube username.
This rebate offer and contest is limited to the first 20 Youtube qualifying submissions. The order of the submissions will be based on the Youtube posting date and time. Of course anyone may post as many Youtube videos as desired, but only one qualifying rebate or contest entry will be allowed per customer.
As part of this promotion Camera Motion Research will award 5 prizes for the best videos in the judgment of CMR staff. One $250 prize for the best video of the first 5 submissions, one $250 prize for the best video of the second 5 submissions, one $250 prize for the best video of the third 5 submissions, and one $250 prize for the best video of the fourth 5 submissions will be awarded. Finally one $500 grand prize will be awarded to the best of the four $250 prize winners.
Rebate payments will be made by crediting the card account used for purchase within 14 days of notification to CMR of a qualifying Youtube submission. Contest $250 award credits will be announced and applied within 14 days after the 5th, 10th, 15th and 20th submissions. And the $500 grand prize credit will be announced and applied within 14 days following the award of the fourth and final $250 prize. If necessary or requested, any rebates or award payments can be made by travelers check.
All entries and prize winners will be posted on the CMR website.
